News - Interface digital Transducer to USB
The DGHUSBCDC interface converter allows digital HIRT probes to be connected to devices with USB connectivity. Designed as a CDC profile, modern operating systems recognise it as a virtual COM port without the need for individual driver installation. This allows digital probes to be accessed extremely easily under Windows 10®, macOS® and Linux derivatives, including Raspbian. In addition to measuring functions, the interface also allows the probe device data to be provided. In particular, this provides the article number, device description, serial number and other information for automatic gauge identification. Several measuring modes also allow both low-power modes and dynamic measurements. In the standard measuring mode, newly connected (hot-plug) probes are automatically detected. The DGHUSBCDC interface is compatible with all HIRT digital probes of the DG series. Due to the absolute measuring principle and the unambiguousness of the process data, sensitivity settings are not necessary. This means that transducers can be connected without the need doing any settings.
