The guide shafts are hardened and ground. The guide diameter is precision ground and lapped to a tolerance of ISO h3. Roundness and cylindricity is within ISO h1 and guarantees for each individually matched PHZ high-precision Linear Ball Bearing high accuracy.
Ball cages are the basic component for high-precision Linear Ball Bearings. Production process and decades of experience guarantee an optimized product. The smallest ball cages are designed for shafts with a diameter of 2 mm and have balls with a diameter of 0.5 mm. A wide range of standard parts is complemented by a wide and customised range of products.
The housings are hardened and ground on all sides. The housing guide bores is pre-honed to -2 / -4 µm and prepared for individual fine honing of the Linear Ball Bearing. The two-stage process guarantees smooth running with no Stick-Slip Effect and highest repeatability of 0.1 µm for standard ball bearings and up to 0.01 µm for specified sensor-finish units.
